The Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC) is the centerpiece of Miami Beach's meetings, conventions, and trade show industry. Following a $640-million renovation from 2015-2020, the expanded MBCC includes a new 60,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom, nearly 500,000 square feet of exhibition space, a larger Grand Lobby, pre-function areas that are bathed in natural light, up to 84 breakout rooms, approximately 800 roof-deck parking spaces, and roughly 2,100 miles of cabling to support the venue's information technology and communications infrastructure.
Meanwhile, the facility boasts $10.2 million worth of art curated by the City of Miami Beach Art in Public Places program, and a pair of public green spaces totaling nine acres of outdoor ambiance can be used by event organizers and attendees. The MBCC is also proud to have achieved GBAC STAR accreditation, the gold standard for facilities and venues worldwide, as well as LEED Silver certification.
