The Charlotte Convention Center is an eye-catching modern landmark that prides itself on its stellar customer service. The 600,000-square-foot center is seven miles from the Charlotte Douglas International Airport and located across the street from three major hotel brands (Westin, JW Marriott and Hilton). It's also connected to the NASCAR Hall of Fame via an over-street walkway placing attendees' steps from a one-of-a-kind attraction and event venue. The facility features a full-service F&B department and much more.
The CCC underwent a $126.9-million expansion in 2021 that added more than 50,000 sq ft of meeting room and pre-function space, bringing the total individual meeting spaces to 55. Those meeting spaces include a 40,000 sq ft ballroom; a 35,000 sq ft ballroom, which can be divided into four 7,700-square-foot breakout spaces; and 50 meeting rooms. The expansion added an over-street walkway that connects to the area's largest hotel, retail, and a light rail station.
