Exhibitors, showgoers, and corporate event attendees are often saddled with any number of items – outerwear, purses, laptop bags, show totes, etc. – that they'd be happy to ditch if doing so didn't entail the inconvenience of trekking to some far-off coat check and standing in a long line. One helpful alternative is Droplocker. These modular locker units, which are made from sturdy 12-gauge steel, offer three cubby sizes ranging from 4.75 to 19.75 inches tall and don't require electric or internet hookups thanks to an internal battery and Bluetooth. Attendees simply download the Luxer app, select the locker size they want, and then enjoy secure storage of their items with unlimited in-and-out access. Droplockers are stocked in white, silver and black, although Luxer is capable of manufacturing practically any shade. Units can also be customized with graphic wraps and decals. Contact: Luxer Corp. While our collective consciousness regarding pathogens has been raised, the onus is still mostly on exhibitors to ensure their booths are safe. The UVC light used in most disinfecting tools on the market today is harmful to humans and requires a space to be empty. However, the CounterAct UR10 disinfecting ceiling fixture emits far-UVC light, which can safely be used when people are in a room. Once mounted to ceilings between 9 and 14 feet high, UR10s reduce up to 99 percent of pathogens in two ways – a downward-facing far-UVC light emitter that treats surfaces and high-power UVC-LEDs that kill airborne germs and viruses as the air circulates across the ceiling – while a space is occupied. Meanwhile, a general LED can cast warm- and cool-toned illumination. Devices come in black or white and can be controlled via an app. Contact: Christie Digital Systems USA Inc., Cypress, CA, 800-221-8025, www.christiedigital.com

Show floors are many things, but one thing they're definitely not is quiet – and that can pose a challenge for exhibitors who don't have discrete, solid-walled meeting rooms. Silence the din (and make it easier for customers to make buying decisions) with Hush and Soundtex fabrics from McRae Imaging Inc. These sound-absorbing, 100-percent polyester textiles improve acoustics, reduce echoes, and diminish distractions. Suitable for myriad applications, including drapery, silicone-edge graphics, and one-off structures, the fabrics come in a wide range of colors and patterns and can be custom printed. Swaths are also machine washable and conducive to front lighting. Contact: McRae Imaging Inc., Mississauga, ON, Canada, 905-569-1605, www.mcraeimaging.com
