Bluewater Technologies Welcomes Andrew Makins as Senior Director of Client Services

WIXOM, MI – Bluewater Technologies, one of the nation’s leading experiential agencies specializing in award-winning brand activations, events, and modern AV solutions, is proud to announce the addition of Andrew Makins as Senior Director of Client Services for Live Events.

In this pivotal role, Makins will lead client relationship strategy across Bluewater’s Live Events division, focusing on growth, business development, strategic oversight, and impactful experiential programs that deliver measurable outcomes for top-tier brands.

Andrew Makins Makins brings over 25 years of experience in advertising, marketing, sales, and account management, with a proven track record in scaling high-performing teams and driving revenue across broadcast, digital, and experiential platforms. His career spans leadership roles at Beasley Media Group, WJBK-TV (FOX Detroit), Quantcast, Crain Communications, and Digitas/Publicis Groupe, where he developed and executed award-winning marketing strategies for local, regional, and national clients.

Most recently, Makins served as General Sales Manager and Digital Sales Manager at Beasley Media Detroit, where he led a team of 10 account executives to consistent year-over-year digital revenue growth. He also played a key role in expanding the company’s digital advertising footprint and oversaw top-performing stations in streaming audio and in-car display advertising. Prior to that, he was the Digital Sales Manager at FOX 2 Detroit.

A Detroit-area native, Makins attended Madonna University and received his degree from Michigan State University. He is an active leader in the community and is currently serving as President of the Board of Directors at Plum Hallow Country Club in Southfield, Michigan.
