Smart Design with Staying Power
By: Aluvision, Storylink Creative, and Aria AV

As a leading supplier of modular systems and LED solutions for exhibits and events, Aluvision takes pride in customer success stories. After all, our mission is to inspire and connect partners on their creative journey to design and build modular environments.

At IMEX America 2025, the collaborative efforts of two of Aluvision's trusted partners, Aria AV and Storylink Creative, could be seen across the show hall. One project in particular was notable for its minimalist design that relied on impactful modularity that maximized the user experience: Sonesta International Hotels.
Sonesta International Hotels wanted a modular exhibit. What they got was a reliable, remarkable solution that met their goals.

Built to Impress
Sonesta, the eighth largest hotel company in the United States, boasts more than 1,100 properties, more than 100,000 rooms, and 13 brands across 10 countries.

IMEX America, the largest trade show for the global meetings, events, and incentive travel industry, presents valuable opportunities for Sonesta to meet with key decision-makers for booking business-related travel. At the 2025 show, Sonesta planned more than 300 pre-scheduled meetings to take place in the 30-by-40 island booth.

Modularity in Motion
In 2022, Sonesta tasked Storylink Creative with designing a modular exhibit that could be easily reconfigured to meet the varied needs of their event program. For two of their major shows, GBTA and IMEX America, Sonesta also requested that the design be integrated with LED tiles to attract, inform, and engage show passersby and attendees checking in for their pre-scheduled meeting.

Storylink Creative chose their Aluvision rental inventory for this project. Next, the full-service creative agency tapped into the resources of another Aluvision enthusiast, audio-visual and computer rental provider Aria AV.

Aluvision's versatile frames and Hi-LED tiles are durable and endlessly reconfigurable, a perfect solution to Sonesta's challenge of efficient modular design.
Using Aluvision's modular frames and LED tiles, Storylink Creative and Aria AV created a welcoming atmosphere designed to adapt.

Designed to Adapt & Endure
The 2022 concept performed so well that Sonesta used it for the last four years. The booth is comprised of two 14-foot double-sided towers capable of integrating LED tiles, in addition to a series of single- and double-sided walls, all made from Aluvision Omni-55 frames. The 2025 design adapted a single-sided wall to create a faux ceiling and strategically used double-sided walls to define the space and create opportunities for static message display and photo ops.

Storylink Creative's use of Aluvision Omni-55 frames, coupled with custom elements crafted for reception, lighting, brand signage, and textural details, offered the perfect balance of open space and conversation lounge. With a modern, trend-conscious design and expert AV integration, the 2025 booth looked as clean and fresh as it did at its debut.

As an eye-catching focal point for Sonesta at IMEX America 2025, the main tower featured a 4-by-4 array of Aluvision Hi-LED P2.5 tiles. Guests couldn't help but watch as the 13 global brands of Sonesta properties were brought to life in crisp color and vivid detail, including those specific to the representatives working the booth.
Aluvision's Hi-LED P2.5 tiles were picture-perfect for drawing crowds to Sonesta's booth at IMEX America 2025.

Aluvision's Suite of Advantages
Thanks to Aluvision's toolless assembly and plug-and-play model, Storylink Creative and Aria AV capitalized on a connection system that simplified installation and dismantling and reduced labor needs while enhancing setup control and structural integrity. With compact packaging, Aluvision's lightweight Omni-55 frames and Hi-LED tiles created cost savings opportunities for shipping and drayage.

The user-friendliness and intuitive handling of the Hi-LED tiles also directly impacted Sonesta. Their durability, reusability, and modularity provide a consistent, high-quality and dependable video output.

Modular Design, Maximum Impact
Aluvision's event solutions have been the clear choice for Storylink Creative and Aria AV for Sonesta. The company required a hybrid rental custom concept where modularity and the ability to seamlessly add or detract LED tiles was crucial, and Aluvision's solutions proved a worthy investment for both the creative agency and the AV provider.

IMEX America 2025 was a success for Sonesta, with a full schedule of meetings. The LED wall was instrumental in attracting attention and showcasing the company's message.

Because it can be easily refreshed, Sonesta and their event staff continue to be impressed with the design and functionality of their modular exhibit. Their appearance at IMEX America 2025 received overwhelmingly positive feedback from guests and Sonesta stakeholders for its contemporary, on-brand design and welcoming atmosphere. E
