Congress Center Hamburg
The Congress Center Hamburg (CCH) was reopened in 2022 after an extensive $345 million overhaul. The renovation reconfigured the center into three event sections spread across four floors, each with their own entrance. The total floor area was expanded to 387,000 square feet, including 50 flexible multifunction halls. The reimagined facility focused on modernization and included light-flooded architecture, high-end AV capabilities, and sustainability, which earned it a DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) gold certification.

Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.

Any glass intended to support human weight, such as on stairways, podiums, or catwalks, must be specially approved before use.

Exhibitors must handle, store, and serve food hygienically, keeping it protected, properly labeled, and in compliance with legal requirements.

Exhibitors may operate a WLAN only for their own booth; must register it with Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH; follow specified power, frequency, and channel limits; and ensure it does not interfere with other networks.

WHERE TO SLEEP
There are six hotels in the immediate vicinity of the CCH and approximately 8,000 beds within two miles. The 27-story Radisson Blu hotel is connected to the venue and has 556 rooms. If you prefer a more exciting hotel experience, less than a mile away is Reverb by Hard Rock, a hotel housed in a WWII bunker.

WHAT TO EAT
For lunch, locals love Green Papaya, less than a half mile from the CCH. Its Vietnamese fare is hailed as “delicious and cheap.” For a New York steakhouse experience in Germany, head to Theo's in the Grand Elysée Hotel. For a casual yet elevated alternative, consider TwoSix, an upscale pub with a view.

HOW TO GET THERE
The CCH is in the heart of Hamburg, less than six miles from the Hamburg Airport. A 15-minute taxi ride to the venue costs about $35. For those driving to the venue, the CCH garage charges approximately $30 per day. Alternatively, the train and bus network links almost directly with the venue, and it's easy to get there from almost anywhere in the city.
