10/7/2025
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Starting today, the Kentucky Exposition Center becomes the central location for The Utility Expo, the third largest trade show in North America and the largest gathering for utility professionals and construction contractors. Known for test drives and interactive product demonstrations, biennial trade show will activate nearly the entire Kentucky Venues property October 7-9.
The event is expected to draw over 20,000 visitors from across the globe and drive an estimated $19.9 million in economic impact. In 2023, the show had attendees from all 50 states and 60 countries. Visitors and passersby will see first-hand how the show and its over 900 exhibiting companies have transformed the facility’s indoor and outdoor space into a sprawling equipment showroom all while major expansion and renovation projects continue on the Kentucky Exposition Center grounds. This seamless coordination allows events of any size to continue throughout construction.
Beyond the Expo’s footprint on the Kentucky Exposition Center property, 4th Street Live! Is serving as a sub-event location, highlighting Louisville’s vibrant downtown as an integral part of the experience. Events like The Utility Expo help Kentucky Venues continue its mission of showcasing Louisville and the Commonwealth as a premier destination for hosting events.
